Antwerp Zoo (Dutch: ZOO Antwerpen) is a zoo in the centre of Antwerp, Belgium, located next to the Antwerpen-Centraal railway station. It is the oldest animal park in the country, and one of the oldest in the world, established on 21 July 1843.

Happy Spring everyone! Yes, I know its a little bit late. This is from a Yoshino Cherry tree in my back yard. Its probably my favorite type of tree. With this shot I figured I'd try something a little different from what I'm used to.

at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park....a couple of live ones !!

The furry catkins of Pussy Willow emerge with daffodils in full bloom in the background. A stormy start to March here in West Wales. Heavy rain and strong winds but nature gets on with what it does best at this time of year.

we had an Easter weekend of summer . hot and summery and the blooms are everywhere

 

after a very dreary winter everyone is so GRATEFUL

It was so warm the Robins must have thought spring had arrived. they were enjoying the worms :)

Officially, it's SMMGNN014. This spring was the cause of death for a nocturnal explorer in 1988. He fell into the spring when caught by snowfall in the dark. He made it back to his friends in camp, but died of his burns overnight.
