You may catch a glimpse of her out of the corner of your eye... sitting on a bough... drinking a drop of dew from a petal... dancing in a sunbeam.
Okay, I confess, I'm in love with my dryad. She's probably my favourite persona -- I feel like she's a part of me no matter what skin I'm wearing.
So when I find a new outfit that suits her, it puts me a bit over the Moon. I found a wonderful little skirt and top from .Viki. at Fantasy Faire 2021. Zelina is a beautiful skirt and top that just seem made for a fae. It's available in five different colours, or a HUD-driven fatpack. It's perfect!
I also have these awsome little bits of wing armour from the amazing Idrial at -FAS-. I showed off the Fairy Wings last week: these bits of thorny armour fit the wings and move with them. They have their own colour HUD to match your look!
I hope you've had a wonderful Faire! There are still a few days left: I will spend every moment I can in the Fairegrounds.

Last Spring I was shooting the pink plum blossom on our Japanese plum tree. The Helios lens gives a beautiful swirl of pink bokeh.

Look what was in our tree on Sunday. At one time there were about 12 birds.....they love the ornamental crab berries in the winter....this gives me hope that SPRING really MIGHT come this year!
A front yard. We like to visit Yellow Springs from time...it is an interesting city. Taken by Edgar.
Paid a visit to Black Partridge Forest Preserve after work tonight. It is surprising sometimes how the flowers can be at different stages in different preserves only a few miles apart. The bluebells here were in full bloom.

We can tell the weather is getting warmer the bugs are starting to appear. 50mm prime lens and a Raynox DCR-250 not a bad combination for fairly close macro photography.

Shooting Star are some of the most colorful wildflowers. I spotted these fine specimens along the Buttermilk Bend Trail in the South Yuba River State Park. The Buttermilk Bend Trail is a wonderful place to see a wide variety of wildflowers blooming.

On the abandoned P&W/N&W bridge. It overgrows so much in the summer that parts of it are hard to cross over. Copperhead snakes like to hang out in the cover. About the rails here, those are not narrow gauge. They are only the inner guard rails. The outer ones have been gone as long as I can remember.
Crystal Pool is an oasis in the Amargosa valley part of Ash Meadows National Wildlife Refuge. Water, more than 10,000 gallon per minute flow from seven major springs is a key resource for this unique desert habitat in the dry north Mojave Desert. The waters come from a vast underground aquifer that is forced to the surface by a geologic fault acting as an underground dam. Twenty-six species here are Endemic and found only here. There are four native fish species on the refuge. These include the Ash Meadows Amargosa pupfish. A tiny 1 inch long fish, the blue-colored males and greenish females have adapted to live in the clear waters which can be as wam as 93° F. South Nevada, U.S.A.
