Rather unusual colour of the newly opened leaves of this beech tree.
Not sure if this is copper beech tree.
I love spring and wearing all the bright spring colors such as lavender, pink, purple, etc. Today I'm wearing a new sweater from WHBM. Top and skirt are by WHBM as well. Heels by Nine West.
And in a grand way it has too.
Flowers springing up everywhere..

A long time in between posts, I know. Work and personal commitments, I'm afraid. Spring is in the air here in Melbourne and we've enjoyed wonderful weather. A collection of a few edible leaves and flowers from my mother's garden (quinces storebought).
Flowers in my yard are starting to poke through the ground. This is from last year. I was playing around in the afternoon with my Beer can lens. I really liked how this shot turned out.

Our neighbor has a small tree that is in full bloom, and the rain drops add a nice visual element! I'm not even sure what kind of tree this actually is . . .
It's so nice to see fresh colors finally with the blooming gardens and trees.
No golf today at 6 degrees above freezing and wind gust up to 20 mph after our big storm last night!
