In one of my last lessons in this school year with my youngest pupils they got the following task: “Imagine a moment you are wishing for in this summer and then draw a picture illustrating this vision.” And in their soon coming summer-holidays hey will have to make a photo which comes as close as possible to this drawing. Finally in autumn when they are coming back to school we will compare their paintings with their photographs. Maybe there are some hidden(flickr-) talents beneath them!?

The sanctuary consists of three parts:
- a temple (A)
- a square courtyard (B) surrounded on its four sides by a colonnaded portico. The north side consists of a great central cella flanked by two lateral cellae. The largest and most imposing cella is in the centre and has a central raised apse where the statue of the statue of Libe Pater must have stood.
- a sacred theatre (C) built downhill to the south. The theatre has no stage, but a large orchestra closed to the southeast by a large wall preceded by a portico with six columns. Its proximity to the Temple of Liber Pater suggests that it may have been used to celebrate divine mysteries.

Fossile Funde verwandter Arten der rezenten Araucaria datieren bis zu einem Alter von 90 Millionen Jahren (Gattung Wollemia), womit die Familie der Araucariaceae eine der ältesten Baumfamilien der Welt ist !!!
Die Chilenische Araukarie (Araucaria araucana), auch Andentanne, Chiletanne, Schlangenbaum, Schuppentanne, Affenschwanzbaum, Affenbaum, Chilenische Schmucktanne oder Monkey Puzzle Tree genannt, in der örtlichen Sprache Mapundungun von der indigenen Bevölkerung Pewen oder Pehuén genannt ist eine Pflanzenart aus der Gattung der Araukarien (Araucaria) in der Familie der Araukariengewächse (Araucariaceae).
Apahrellir (Araucaria araucana) er sígrænt suður-amerískt barrtré af fornri barrtrjáaætt Araucariaceae, sem finnst nánast einungis á suðurhveli.
Vaxtarsvæði þess er í hlíðum mið- og suður- Andesfjalla Chile og Argentínu í u.þ.b. 600-1800 metrum yfir sjávarmáli og á suðlægu breiddargráðunum 37-40°. Hæð apahrellis getur orðið allt að 30-40 metrar. Það vex hægt en getur náð miklum aldri; yfir 1300 ára. Apahrellir myndar engin brum heldur hættir að vaxa þegar kólnar og byrjar að vaxa aftur þegar hlýnar. Trén verða kynþroska um 40 ára aldurinn. Börkurinn er grábrúnn og raðast barr reglulega í kringum hann.

The 1,500 m2 square is remarkably well-preserved and surrounded by porticoes on three sides. The Forum is enclosed by a single-arch built in 116 and dedicated to Emperor Trajan, which remains one of the site's highlights. The arch formed the entrance to the forum.
The arch was erected by the proconsul of Africa, but it was paid for by the local community. On the south side of the arch, a Latin inscription is still partially legible, celebrating the conquest of the 'Germans, Armenians and Parthians'.

All right, here is a mystery sign to me warning of E. Coli dangers in Spanish and what language??? Is this Hmong language? This has been bothering me for awhile and I just wanted to figure it out. This sign was/is at Point Beach State Park, Two Rivers, Wisconsin.
