I want to start selling some of my pictures. There are a few prints on deviantart but even if I did get people buying those they give you like, a dollar? Maybe I should set up something on my website... someone clicks what they want, then I go and print it out and charge whatever printing cost me plus whatever extra depending on how annoying it was to take said picture.
Well I'm tring to show everyone this interesting building in Gateshead. The Baltic Art gallery. Well just as the shutter went this man jumped in front of the camera. You know how it is.
On the other hand I was shooting this wide expanse of Gateshead river frontage with the Sage and Baltic, and well, a man got in the background of the picture.
Ah well, maybe next time I go there I will get a better shot !
Shot at 17mm F11 at 1/160 iso 100. Yes a D800 will allow a DX lens to be used in FX mode. No vignetting at 17mm. Cropped and straightened(a bit)
My second photo journal assigment for UofT. The idea is that I am stuck in the middle of two images of a teacher: a friendly professional face to students, and an activist fighting the oppressive education system.
weird day of weather. i understand this is normal. ha. minor adjustments with contrast and exposure in picnik.
This is our on so angelic looking Stitch!!!! That is about the only time she is even close to being angelic is when she is asleep. The rest of the time she is using Lilo's head as a springboard. Since Lilo is 76 lbs. and Stitch is (guessing) 6 or 7 lbs.......I doubt Lilo really even feels it!
I split my face in half, and each half was flipped and paired with itself. The image on the left is made with the right side of my face; the image on the right is made with the left side of my face. The image in the middle is untouched.
