Coco an eight month old Chocolate Labrador Retriever puppy and Mabel a five year old Dogue de Bordeaux (French Mastiff), cool down while playing in a splash pool in the garden.

Sticking with images from the Water Break its Neck waterfall in the Radnor Forest area of Mid Wales. A low POV image of the base where this waterfall doe not really have much of a splash pool.

The Dart ball (round dimples) rests on a vintage tee, about 2/3 the height of an average tee today. Full disclosure here, but these shots are taken at our local park, Pinafore, which is a family park encompassing a bandshell, splash pool, picnic pavilions, and beautiful places to walk. Ironically, Pinafore was a golf course many years ago. It was also the sight of a tragedy when an overloaded tour boat capsized. I'm hoping to get a few shots at a golf course up north on the weekend. Not gonna play, but there's a course where we're staying.

A walk along the Cutler Brook/Markeaton brook shows how it was transformed in 1758 to create a series of lakes with waterfalls/weirs as it runs through the Kedleston Hall park on its way to the Derwent.

The Splash Pool marks one end of the Kedleston estate, thereafter becoming a brook again.

You just gotta stop by the upper observation area at Taughannock Falls and see what's doing. About the average amount of water there yesterday. The splash pool looked particularly lovely then.

GOD I LOVE WATERY PIX ~!

This beautiful park is just down the hill from our house. Lots of open space, playground and splash pool. Picnic tables under cover. One thing Charlottesville does well is public parks.

taken with Nikon FM2, Ilford 400

Getting down to the base was slow but sure. Getting over the mounds of ice to the splash pool was fun. I dropped my remote in the water 2 shots after this one and it was never to be seen again. It didn't really upset me though, other than the litter in the creek. I stood in the pool and found myself in a moment of thought. This time last year I could barely walk due to some condition that affected my tendons. How grand is it that we get exited and seek out the most adverse and treacherous conditions. We are driven by a passion to capture and share these beautiful scenes that words can't describe. I hope this image and yours eats more than just my remote. The more people that gain an appreciation for this beautiful place we dwell, The more peace and harmony will prevail. Happy Waterfall Wednesday and keep the chilly scenes coming.

Aotea Park is situated about 8 kilometres (5 miles) north of Porirua. The Park's "centre-piece" is the path around the perimeter of a lagoon, but a local Lions Service Club have added a ¼ scale rideable miniature railway with an 833-metre (2,733 ft) loop track which includes two bridges and a tunnel. (See previous photo).

The Park has lawns on three sides, some with barbecue facilities, but other facilities include an Adventure and Toddlers' playgrounds, a Splash Pond (see a previous photo), a duck pond, and an island reached by bridge!

In the opposite corner of the Park are another duck pond and a rose garden - which to our surprise included Roses that were still flowering! (Above)....

(The above was taken from: Wikepedia - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aotea_Lagoon).

And whilst the Park itself was very nicely laid out and thus very attractive, what made our visit even more pleasant was that it was sheltered from the strong, cold Southerly wind, thus allowing for a very pleasant, (and yes: some would say a quite romantic) amble that took in the Splash Pool, the Train (of course!), the Duck Pond and the beautiful Rose gardens...!

We will return in the Summer... with some Grandchildren in tow - though I'm not sure who is going to have more fun...!

Short story

I was inspired by the recent showings of customised minidolls from the Friends theme, so I decided to have a go at making my own. This is a modified Emma from the Splash Pool set.

Long story

Way back in the 90s, I'd been exposed to the NES and came across the game Low G Man, which is rather strange but one of my favourites on the system. I remember trying to find the manual for the game to uncover the back story.

Anyway, I wanted to create a spin-off of the game based on my own ideas, and also to improve on the original. I even had a working demo at one point, but it was lost when the home computer *allegedly* got a virus. This was back when CD writers came at a premium, and the only backup solution was a floppy disk.

This figure is of the main character of the spin-off. And yes, the hairstyle was inspired by Pokémon's Nurse Joy.

Out of Africa Wildlife Park series of photos from the Tiger Splash pool time. Tiger is intent on getting the toy on the end of the pole.

I promised I would bring you up here for a look. I think if we stand over by the top pool, it would be a good place to take a photograph of the splash pool, main pool and lake. You did bring your camera didn't you? You can see a bit of the lake in the background from here.

"The Maxim Splash Pool Party Series kicks in to high gear just when Dallas needs it most - in our first week of triple-digit temperatures. Produced by Noah and Breakfast for Maxim, the party promises to live up to the magazine's good name with plenty of scantily clad beautiful women and alcohol everywhere. Expect large crowds and a lot of shirtless guys being turned away.”

This set arrived on Monday.

But i was now ready for Pictures.

I got it on eBay for 12 € incl. shipping!

Its my first bigger set of Mega Bloks.I like it.

Some parts are pretty loose and fall of all the Time like the Plants and the Palm Crown. But that happend also with Lego sets! ^^

Because i have not enough Figures with summer/swim Clothes we have here only Ken and Barbie (which came with this set) we also have Teresa, Midge and Summer.

The Set came with a Catalog (like Lego) and really started to look at this and think "I need this Body/Clothes from this set and this Hair from this set and this ... this ...this...!"

In the begining i never wanted one single set of these. I was totally into my Monster Fighters from Lego.

But then i found the Single Figure in that cute little Boxes.

And then i nedded more stuff for them and now i need a lot more stuff of them.

Im addicted! I´m so weak.

And the Mermaids arn´t out yet! O-O

Well, it looks better now that we have put away the pool skimmer. Good Grief!!! Look at Suzie, we should have gotten her out of that Hot Tub sooner, she is as pink as a lobster. I'll see if we have any aloe.

Well, Ilse, you are the only one without a camera, so why don't you slide down the water tube and the rest of us will take your picture when you come out. Oh no, I hope someone got a better picture than I did, I cut off the edge of the pool.
