Hungry ducks all lined up on the bank of a pond, a trusty assistant (my son) to throw bread in the water, camera set to AI servo focus and burst mode and heh presto. Kamikaze duck caught in sme splash down action. I love the funky reflections of the splash and one of the water drops looks like a beady eye on the ducks reflection.

Splash! is a special week-long event for merfolk and their friends, organised by Elite Equestrian and runs from August 16th to August 23rd.
It was a perfect place to take our kelpies for an outing and it's very beautiful. I didn't get many photos because we quickly got involved in a trivia hunt they are running based on your knowledge of mythical sea creatures. Yes, Google is your friend and we managed to win the grand prize. Unfortunately it was more suitable for females but fun to do the hunt.

I started my 365 with a splash and a song. I decided not to end with either. I was glad for the grey day

Another splash shot. I think the droplets are better in this one. I had a few efforts. Will maybe try again with flash and a smaller aperture.
