Drip. Drop. Splash!
------------------------------------------
Used:
A clear bowl filled with water.
I put a white sheet of paper behind it for the flash to bounce off of to illuminate the bowl.
And a blueish paper under the bowl for color.

For dropping the water, I had a bag of water with a small hole in the corner of it.
To get it over the bowl of water, I balanced a tennis racket between a table and chair,
with the bag sitting on the "net" of the racket.

Since we are on the topic of "splashes" and golden sun rays - here's another La Jolla "spalsh".
Be sure to check out the previous post to get an idea of how quickly the clouds moved in over the horizon. Both photos were taken on the same day - spaced about 15 minutes apart.
Please view this photo and let me know which one looks better.

Here are the results of a test I did just before Smigus Dyngus. I was trying to find minimum shutter speed to freeze flying water. I figured you guys might like to see it.
AS project. I dropped a grape into a glass of water and managed to catch the splash (proved difficult as the camera I was using had a delay on it!) I made the water a green colour by putting a small amount of food colouring into the water. These were actually taken on a camera phone on macro setting =].
