We took the kids to the splash pad here on post today. They had a blast. I am posting many shots from today. Some I think are print worthy for our album, others are just of the kids having a good time. Hope everyone enjoys!

Playing with dropping milk into a cup. Originally was playing with food coloring, hence the purple water, but then went to milk. Out of 250 photos, I got maybe 10 that show a decent splash, and 1 or 2 that I like. This is my favorite.

I was shooting at the full 8fps to get these, and still had a very low keeper rate. I think the ambient was too bright because you can still see a bit of motion blur in the droplets. I may have to try tethered TTL and the FPS setting to up my max synch speed.

Strobist.com - One SB-28 1/64th power, front camera right, only about 6 inches from the mug. Triggered with pocket wizards.
