This guy was great. I didn't catch his name (can anyone help?) but he sounded not a millon miles away from a certain Mr. Jeff Buckley. Looking like Jeff may have helped...
It was interesting to see the Margaret Thatcher spitting image puppet at the Imperial War Museum (DO NOT STEAL THIS PHOTOGRAPH).
A visit to the Birmingham NEC.
At Destination Star Trek Europe on Sunday 9th October 2016.
It was in Hall 4 at the NEC. You could come and go as many times as you like (as long as your hand was stamped or had a pass).

A day off from work and the usual early morning departure on the train at 6.14am meant a day in the capital exploring some favorite items to photograph. It also seems that a day in London ends by seeing a cartoon/film character (last time it was Spiderman). This time Shrek was touring Parliament Square.
Bei der Aufnahme hoffte ich noch, den richtigen Moment zu erwischen. Im Sucher und im Display sah es noch nicht so grauslich aus ...

Puppet from the Spitting Image television series on display as part of a gallery exhibition about the Falklands War. Imperial War Museum. London. Tuesday 10 February 2015
Around half a million marched peacefully through London to protest at the inequity and iniquity of the way the UK's ConDem government is seeking to address the budget deficit. Spunkflakes make sure Eric Pickles, Margaret Thatcher and of course David Cameron don't miss out on the fun.

....Nancy Reagan. Or maybe a bank robber? Who knows. Have I gone mad? Probably a little bit. Do you ever have those days when you wish you could just be someone else and leave your life behind a while. Well thats my thoughts today. Nancy Reagan isn't very exciting though is it. I got this mask when I was aged about 12 and Spitting Image was my favourite TV programme. It was the one thing I wanted for Christmas. Explains my sense of humour then.

Cloud shaped like the head of Pinocchio, or a Spitting Image puppet, or a Simpsons character.
Taken through a window.
A 3 day weekend means a 4.30am alarm call to beat the traffic. Having visited some Midland football stadia, I decided to fit in some North West ones.
After that the 1st of 2 Christmas Markets this year were visited in Manchester along with a trip to the National Football Museum.
