This is the surface of an Ultra Wide Converter Sony Lens. I haven't used it in ages, but now I'm reacquainted with it I might well do, thank you MM! Having lots of problems today with laptop crashing so it's taken me forever to upload and do a minimal process. HMM...

Three steel ball-bearings rest atop a print-out of black and white lines converging to a central point. The edges of the central ball-bearing are as close to the focal plane as possible and, as such, show a particularly lucid sharpness to the smooth curve of the steel sphere.

The Canon RF 100 macro has a "spherical aberration" control, intended to produce a "dreamy" effect. It only makes a difference at wider apertures. I haven't done much with it and thought the control ring was locked in neutral. Somehow, though, I'd accidentally got it maxed out in the "-" direction, and this was the result...
Totally unedited/unmanipulated photo, now that I see it I think it could be well worthy at least a slight enlightening edit, which I will do later on and maybe re-upload the picture. (Actually, I didn't !)
With the cherries can be produced a variety of dishes but also liquor, vine and even vinegar.
I been challenging myself in succeeding to photograph a glass bottle in low-tone light.
I was just using candles in my setting in total darkness but the time flew and the dawn begun to let a pale blue light in.
The cherries are the world famous variety "durone rosso" and they come directly from the IGP original spot, Marostica, Italy. The vinegar has been artigianally produced in Marostica too. It has non particular brand or logo, only the origin: the agricultural estate of the Restaurant located in the medieval upper Castle of Marostica.
Display: Vintage cherry-patterned towels, sterling silver design sculptural spheric holder (handmade author's piece), Vintage sterling silver miniature grail. I didn't polish it in order to keep the wonderful patina and absorb the light in a better way with less reflections.

Walking through the Jungle Section at the Los Angeles County Arboretum I came across this "Orb" high above me - installed in preparation for the "Lightscape" light show starting in December. I couldn't resist taking a spherical selfie as I walked through !!

Early Morning Playtime With Neo, My Brother's German Shepherd Puppy (360°x360° VR) - IMRAN™
(My 126th Flickr Explore!)
During my recent trip to Pakistan, I spent some time at my younger brother's home in the Sukh Chayn Gardens area of Lahore. This was the morning after our niece's wedding. It was relatively early in the morning, when I came out to play with his one year old very active German Shepherd puppy. I captured about 2 dozen pics with the iPhone and stitched them together in Lightroom for a quick panorama 360x360. You can see Neo doing his zoomies run in this action moment I captured him in.

Have you every seen such a spherical bird? I'm guessing this Gambel's Quail has done quite well for himself, foraging his way to rather round proportions. His wife was nearby and she was nearly equally spherical.
