35th scale BARC Speeder MOC inspired by the HotToys Collectibles BARC Speeder with Sidecar.
The sidecar can indeed rotate more or less smoothly and the whole thing holds its own pretty well when connected to a solid base.

I was excited to get this particular image because you can easily see the pilot in his cockpit, even at super sonic speed. The fast shutter speed setting on my Nikon D500 must have worked well on this particular day.
Another skiff based on models by monsterpartyhat with more than a little inspiration from -majortom-. This small one-seater is equipped to sift through the shallow waters of the wetland farms of T\'brini for delicious fish eggs.
Still trying to get the lighting to behave. I realized that I use my computer with "nightlight mode" and that that skews the actual render hue. This model also shows off one thing that many irl builders dont always realize about digital mocs: you have to place EVERY PART. Maybe someday I’ll get Blender physics to work with builds and then I can just let “piles” of parts fall into place.
Hot take: The sequal trilogy is not great. It is unoriginal, disorganized, and it does its best to steamroll over established lore. I had been in the process of thinking through how I would have written the sequal story but the Mandalorion seems hell bent on ensuring that the sequals are engrained canon (I love the Mando, no hate there). So now, I'm not re-writing the story so much as writing a different story occuring in parallel.
Anyway, here's a scrappy landspeeder carrying the typical scavanged power converters and such. I did make a base but it was bulky and overshadowed the speeder. I'll put it on the base if I ever get the other skiff finished ;)
A turkey vulture waits by the side of the road, possibly recruited by the California Highway Patrol to help enforce speed limits.

I have been trying to find the best settings for birds in flight photography and have just saved some on my camera's memory. Seeing this deer was unexpected so the settings (sort of) did the job here. Not "perfect" but I liked the sense of speed that this gives.
The Kaltorians Army salvage war wreckage on the plains of Nasferia, to build there transport, the one example is Zooka -FSSP (Field Search Speeder Pod). It has a high beam G2-lazer cannon and a high seat cockpit for better vintage point. It houses big tanks so it can cover vast distances and can operate in the dark.
The main feature is its landing pod, it can be positioned on almost any surface, it gives them access to places bigger vessels/ships would not dare venture.

This is a box of black & white negative film that I still have to this day. The film expired in November. 1981.
Cassette held 20 exposures and had to be handled in total darkness.
Film is designated HIE 135-20
Required a deep red r72 filter or 25a filter.
The film speed was a bit arbitrary. I seem to recall shooting at ASA 400.
