What do you have in plans for a weekend? I’m taking today off and catching up on some editing. Catching a breath it’s always a good thing. This night started very spontaneous and it ended up being a ton of fun. I got to spend some time with some of my friends and get a variety of photo ops. This is one of the images from that night. What do you think?

I have been out all day and had a visit to Bicentennial Park, Homebush to try out the 100-400 mm lens. I forgot to change some of the settings and I am disappointed with most of my photos. This is a mistake, but I really love it.

Light moves very fast!!
I set a slow shutter speed and while I shot the exposure I moved the camera horizontally quickly for the motion effect. it's fun to see the erratic beginning part of my movement. when I pressed the shutter button..;))

Faster than Ludicrous, but not quite Plaid! These F22 Raptors of the Hawaii National Guard pull some serious G's on take-off! Normally, I'm in the middle of meetings when they pull their antics, but today I had the day off.
NJ Transit GP40PH-2B (EMD, 1965-1969) is seen leading Montclair-Boonton Line train 1003 out of Newark Broad St Station. 4213 is one of two ex-Penn Central locomotives sporting the "Speed Stripe" NJ Transit livery; the rest of the GP40-2B fleet are painted in the more common "Disco Stripe" scheme.

Union Pacific 7483 powers through the mainline at Need or Galt rather, but the railroad calls it what the railroad calls it, with what used to be the Brooklyn Trailers. At the time of this was was taken this train was the Stacks from Seattle to The Shops and now this train has become the Seattle Zip to finally match it's counterpart the ZLCTM. Progress maybe? Or just a front for peak UPS and FedEx season only time will tell.
Title seemed fitting enough since the California Department of Corrections training center is right here on Twin Cities Road also...

This Lurcher unleashed its blistering pace and almost appeared to skim the surface of this tidal pool, i just love the determined look on his face!

Not sure how I got this trike, think it was a bulk lot, but it was just the back half piece. No front wheel. so, when life gives you lemons...
