French artist living in Miami
Reflecting his training, Denis’ artistic work is a bridge between art and the Design world.
Influenced by the kinetic art of Victor Vasarely, Tuan and the French design scene, his creations emerge from hybridization between photo and digital painting. His work as a designer brought him to the realization that only light is important, as it is light that reveals matter.
His work has cast light itself on the scene which, reinterpreted, appears to become matter.
These works accompany our society which dematerialises itself.
His desire is to return to the very essence of things- before matter there was light.

Some shells I bought today at a garage sale, filled with the clear candle gel from a few weeks ago.
The gel remains after the shot, with little forlorn pieces of shell sticking to it. the gel acts as its own perfect mold release, maybe using the shell as a form and shooting the gel replica?

This is the sign on the road around the corner. On my road it's 45 mph and just up the road its 55 mph. I think both are too fast considering how many people live in this area. It needs to be way less because people do not slow down, they keep going 55 mph!
Half an hour later from the last shot , I caught up with 5043 Earl of Mount Edgcumbe at Kingsbury picking up speed after joining the mainline at Kingsbury junction . The Light had got fractionally better.
This afternoon I played with fast shutter speeds. The intention was to capture the burst of a balloon.
I was assisted by my daughter Naomi who was instantly promoted to ‘Head of Detonation’ and who also came up with the science of larger quantities of coloured water in larger balloons leads to more dramatic effect. Well done and thank you, Naomi.
So after a few attempts to practice timing and to get an effective shutter speed we achieved these four photos. My favourite is the last one that we took (shown above) because we managed to capture the water in the balloon desperately holding its shape just after the collapse of the latex balloon and just before gravity pulled it to the floor. Ninja timing skills sums it up!! I know the backdrop is a bit disappointing but Mrs B refused to let me use her best Irish cotton duvet cover!

BSB @ Cadwell Park 2013 - James Ellison heading to the hairpin. It's a shame he crashed out in the first race, but made up for that with a 3rd place in the second race.
The Information Design was created using information from a local road to myself which I regularly travel on. The data was collected on several journeys and averaged out with information including; gear changes, hills, speed, distance and time.
The design was created in Adobe Illustrator and designed to be printed onto an A2 Page where it could then be folded down to a map size for ease of transportation.

Saw this high speed chase today at NW 50th and Meridian, two cop cars involved, 6 or 7 shots went off, You can try to run from the police, but it will not help you, you will be caught !
Trying to take pictures while driving at night...is difficult.
But interesting.

Gli Anthrax sono un gruppo musicale speed/thrash metal statunitense, fondato a New York nel 1981 dal chitarrista Scott Ian e dal bassista Dan Lilker. Sono noti come i capofila del loro genere e grazie al successo dei loro primi lavori, sono considerati uno dei gruppi "big four" del thrash metal, accanto a Metallica, Slayer e Megadeth.
In carriera dopo aver fortemente influenzato il thrash metal con i loro primi tre lavori, con il passare degli anni hanno tentato di modificare il loro stile musicale, a partire dalla pubblicazione del singolo I'm the Man, inglobando anche elementi rap nel tentativo di stare al passo coi tempi.
Il gruppo è anche considerato uno dei primi ad aver lanciato il genere rap metal.
