Nature is my soothing spot,
a faithful friend with
an evergreen heart

Neptune Beach.
Just another lovely beach on the Oregon Coast Highway.
Best not to be in a hurry on Hwy 101 as there's beauty around every corner.
Not sure if this beach has a name? Taken in 2019 so can't place it. Sure liked spending time here.

Have a problem free weekend!
Tateshina Otaki Falls, Chino, Nagano Prefecture.
Although this is not a big waterfall, i was very impressed with the beautiful flow of water and the mossy rocks.
First Monday back after vacation needs some positive uplifting photos, revisited a folder of a few photos I took a lovely evening in November. 1st image of the set of 3.

POEM - SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS
What though the radiance
which was once so bright
Be now for ever taken from my sight,
Though nothing can bring back the hour
Of splendour in the grass,
of glory in the flower,
We will grieve not, rather find
Strength in what remains behind;
In the primal sympathy
Which having been must ever be;
In the soothing thoughts that spring
Out of human suffering;
In the faith that looks through death,
In years that bring the philosophic mind.
- by William Wordsworth
The sounds of flowing or falling water creates such a peaceful atmosphere of tranquility and calmness. Time spent in places like Alaska's Virgin Creek Falls is enchanting and so restorative.
A wide angle shot of this lovely falls in comments.
Our home remodeling project is moving along well, but slowly. Arduous task. House in disarray. Busy times. Regrettably haven't had time for flickr, but hope to from now on. I've missed the beauty and friendly camaraderie. Looking forward to getting back into the daily rhythm and enjoying your images again.
Hope your weekend is wonderful!

I wanna go to the beach
I don't care if it's decadent
I don't know where my spirit went
But that's alright
I wanna go to the deep
Cause there's nowhere I want to be
And nobody I want to see
But that's alright
Particles of pain in my brain
I guess they're here to stay
They work their way inside
And I can't hide or even walk away
You can convince the world
That you're some kind of superstar
When an asshole is what you are
But that's alright
Waiting, hating the shit life throws my way
Hating, waiting to make my escape
I wanna go to the beach
At Sjælsø there is always something to photograph. This particular photo show a not-so-uncommon Danish landscape. We don't have grand vistas with mirror lakes in front and snow covered mountain peaks in the back but what do have are hills that exhibit gentle shapes, with fields and/or trees following the contours. At least to me, these gentle shapes are really soothing.
Sunshine wasn't allowed anything to eat last night so I thought she would like this soothing lolly and she loved it.
A Green Munia (Amandava formosa) was drinking condensed waters from the shaded leaves on floor with the cutest posture. The blue tones on those fallen leaves was the reflection of the blue sky above. The sky was reflected on the tiny water layers covered over the leaves. The colours of this composition are very pleasing to the eyes here. Pics was taken from a village forest in Mount Abu, Rajasthan, India.

The rhythmic sound of crashing waves, the salty breeze, and the shimmering water draw the mind into a peaceful state, offering a perfect moment for reflection or relaxation, while the dynamic beauty of the sea can provide a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
Engaging with such scenery can boost mood, promote mindfulness and evokes a sense of tranquility and connection to nature, making it an ideal activity for peacefulness and vitality restoration.
(Still trying to catch up whenever possible. All the best my friends)
In the dark of night, the forest comes alive with a strange and ethereal light. It is a light that seems to come from nowhere and everywhere at once, and it dances and flickers amongst the trees.
If you are lucky enough to be out in the forest at that time, you might see the source of the light - strange creatures that float through the air. They are translucent and iridescent, and pulse with a soft, hypnotic rhythm.
These creatures are the Dreamweavers, and they have the power to turn light into music and music into light. They weave their way through the forest, creating a symphony of sound and colour that is both mesmerizing and soothing.
As they glide through the forest, they search for children having troubled dreams. If they find one, they approach them quietly and with a gentle touch, add happy, reassuring thoughts to the dream. These children always wake up refreshed, ready to face whatever new adventures the day might bring.
I love the summer wildflowers, but this has to be my favorite time of year on the prairies. The goldenrod and grasses create warm waves of color that just seem to sooth the spirit.
