It's all about the waves. They don't have to be big. I just need to sit there and shoot them. Especially right after a storm has blown over and the ocean hasn't quite calmed down yet.

Some say that Nature adapts to cohabitation with our human species. We instead, should realize that We are the ones who have to react, adapt and accept. Nature has the real power and providence over the earth, sky and earth. And water always wins.

Some beautiful details of architecture in the buildings of the Historical Center of Santiago.

I would suggest a click on the image for a detailed look at the fence.
I took both the tours of Blanchard Springs Caverns in Arkansas. I'd never heard of this place, but it had huge underground rooms with lots of elaborate cave decorations like this and was every bit as good as Carlsbad Caverns. I didn't have a tripod, so I braced the camera on the railings where I could.

There is a clearing to the right, which gives some nice light from the side.
The fireweed adds color to the view from Summit Lake, Alaska. There is still a bit of snow high in the mountains. This is a focus bracketed and stacked image - hand held.

Hello Everyone,
what a rainy and cold Saturday. After rushing back home from the cafe a couple of blocks away and turning up the heat. I looked at the last of the gifts to be wrapped up and decided to be lazy and come into Second Life and travel around to all the places that were giving away their free holiday gifts, which is so wonderful for them to do and thankful for great gifts. When I was about done, I wanted to do a Look of the day photo for you all, this is more of a sophisticated evening/cocktail dress, than a day of shopping outfit, but I fell in love with the ensemble and will be wearing this for a long time to come. :)
I do not have much to write about today, I am so cold that my brain is freezing over. LOL. so please enjoy the photo and thank you all for allowing me to share with you! Have a wonderful Saturday, stay warm and be safe.
xoxo,
Hildda
