Caforio's library in Manduria turned solar at the end of 2007, after having obtained a fund from the region. They produce 20kwph, enough to power 70% of the energy they need to run the library. Pay back time will come within the next 10-15 years thanks to feed-in tariffs (Germany leads the way) which allow for payback up to four times the market rate - 35p per unit circa - for 20 years

This shot was of a DVD showing a reflection of table lamp. The top portion was a shadow of the base of lamp. Do you find this as interesting too ?
After few years it may turn out as CD/DVD Eclipse :)

I have this little pocket-sized solar charger than I bought last year to take on holiday to charge up my iPod when I was away from the computer and the car.
Today I got it out to see if the low January sun was enough to get it charging. It was, but as we only get the sun for a couple of hours at this time of year, a full charge may take some time!

A Solar Charge Controller is a device that use to control the amount of current PV modules feed into a battery bank.
