The snow finally melted enough for my small solar garden lights to recharge today. They cast the most unusually pattern on the ground at night from the cut glass globes . This is not the sharpest image due to being handheld and -2 degrees outside but it does look like sun rays don't you think?.

It's a competition where 20 college teams build solar-powered houses on the National Mall. Houses are rated based on architecture, ability to support residents' heating/water/power requirements, and the amount of excess power available for charging electric vehicles.
