A time when we can all enjoy what we love to do, and there is no fear. This photograph was taken when the pandemic was in it's infancy and the public was unsure of their limitations. We were asked to social distance and people were rebelling.
The evening sky is giving us a different look every day... love tonight’s bright palette of yellows and blues. The water looks deceptively calm in this photo. The current was quite strong; the rower was practically rowing downhill.

Social distancing and need to test out my old F2 with MD-2 gave me the opportunity to use what I had - a short roll of TMY2 and some diafine. Good to see that the camera still works, and that Diafine can handle the T-square emulsion. Everyone be safe out there!

One of my favourite woodland creek scenics in Gowlland Tod Provincial Park along a forested trail following Tod Creek to the fjord of Tod Inlet. I call it the “enchanted forest” as it’s so peaceful.... it truly is a healing place as described in Gwen Curry’s book “Tod Inlet: a healing place”.

I know it's wrong, but as the queue moved, just for a moment, I got a mental picture of the scene in the Full Monty where they are standing in a queue at the benefit office!

Today the fireman and people did two drive byes. One for a lady who turns 90 today and a young lad turned 7. Lights and sirens and look at those SMILES.

Social distancing inside while we wait for an end to the Coronavirus. My husband is winning me in cards every day! Happy we have one another to help pass the time and praying for the world.
"Social distancing" means spending an afternoon in the garden watching the ruby-throat hummingbirds...
While riding home one day this week, we passed by a home which was lit with Christmas lights. I later found out that people around the world are putting Christmas lights back up, in an attempt to spread hope, unity, and love during this time of social distancing.
If real life was anything like the fictional world in my head, Social Distancing would include personally generated force fields that would repel outside dangers like viruses and because I'm a practicing introvert it would shield me from unwanted social interaction as well. Hahaha.
Strobist:
2 AB800 were used for the subject before he was Photoshoped into the picture. One on either side of the subject, pointed away, bouncing the light at full power off the nearby walls. Both strobes were fired using a Phottix Ares RF trigger.
