One of my favourite woodland creek scenics in Gowlland Tod Provincial Park along a forested trail following Tod Creek to the fjord of Tod Inlet. I call it the “enchanted forest” as it’s so peaceful.... it truly is a healing place as described in Gwen Curry’s book “Tod Inlet: a healing place”.

I know it's wrong, but as the queue moved, just for a moment, I got a mental picture of the scene in the Full Monty where they are standing in a queue at the benefit office!
Today the fireman and people did two drive byes. One for a lady who turns 90 today and a young lad turned 7. Lights and sirens and look at those SMILES.

While riding home one day this week, we passed by a home which was lit with Christmas lights. I later found out that people around the world are putting Christmas lights back up, in an attempt to spread hope, unity, and love during this time of social distancing.
"Just me, myself, and I" said my model. Added Sept. 2021: it turned out to be major pain that might have been avoided if we all had quarantined during the month of March in 2020. By now, even the hope that all the vaccinated (by injection or infection) folks will produce a barrier to viral replication was naive; it appears the virus replicates also in vaccinated, asymptomatic individuals. My guess is it will be an ever present risk, necessitating repeated vaccination/frequent infection to avoid more sever disease and death. We shall see.....
Update May 2023: exactly as I thought in 2021, with the added effect of viral evolution to a faster replicating, highly infectious, but airway sparing variant. It became another cold virus after selecting both the virus and the human population. How Evolution works is clearly demonstrated here: www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.2300376120

Yesterday I saw this beautiful crane (maybe a blue heron?) on Half Mile Lake in Timberlea, NS but didn't have my camera...so I went back today with my camera and this is all I got...I'll try again tomorrow!
It's summer in London and Regent's Park have very helpfully painted what 2m looks like so we can all social distance. Unfortunately the park is full of narrow bridges and walkways that make it all but impossible to stay that far apart. Not to mention that joggers will job past and almost brush your shoulder every few minutes. And some couples with dogs walk 3 abreast. It's a maze.
Makes daily excercise a pretty stressful experience.
