Welcome snacks in a tagine were placed in our Riad room each day. Dates, raisins and almonds were a near sinful mixture after walking through the medina admiring the fragrances and snacks available. This simple pleasure may have done more to welcome us than any greeting at the door.

One of the best ways I know to stop nausea. It started yesterday again with belly pain. Time to slow down on the carbs. So I started my morning again with Almond meal pancakes. For snacks I was going for pretzels until I remembered that I can go for the olives to stop the nausea and they don't have any gluten and therefore fit the Paleo diet requirements.NB: I am not on any diet. I just try to survive, literally.
Steph wanted some Japanese snacks. We didn't have enough by our last morning, so we stopped by a few convenience stores.

If you look close you can see plans from another town in the front, and a plastic hammer for a gavel behind the plates to keep the ladies in order.
Kerry served meatballs and kielbasa, cheese and crackers, vegetables with dip, and good cookies, so nobody starved during a long meeting.
