Slow wandering ↟ ↟ ↟
Slow down your pace to at least half speed, slower if you can. Feel your feet touching the ground. Look at the ground. How much more do you see at this pace? This is a very different way of moving about the world. There is no need to speed up. Everything you need is right here.

Late in the afternoon, Endeavour Park settles into that easy rhythm where families drift toward the water and let the day change its colour. Everyone seems to pause for the same quiet reason — to watch Deception Bay soften under the dwindling light. It’s that lovely in‑between time when the sun starts its slow slide, the colours warm, and if you’re lucky, the sky gifts one of those magnificent sunsets that stretch all the way to the Glasshouse Mountains. A simple moment, shared without hurry, made richer just by being there.
Jellyfish are fascinating creatures. In their slow movements, they constantly create new, artistic compositions. I think I took hundreds of photos.
An interesting collection of units power an eastbound Santa Fe drag freight out of Seligman, Arizona, July 25, 1971. On the head end are EMD SD45 5570, Alco RSD-15 9841, EMD F45 5917, and GE U33C 8511. Photo by Joe McMillan.

Povera patria!

" Take this sinking boat and point it home
We've still got time
Raise your hopeful voice you have a choice
You'll make it now
Falling slowly, eyes that know me
And I can't go back
Moods that take me and erase me
And I'm painted black
You have suffered enough
And warred with yourself
It's time that you won... "

Actually got out with my big boy camera last night. This is a 5 min exposure shot at f/10, ISO 100 using my extreme neutral density filter.
Happy Tuesday friends :)
all roads in my region will remain closed until tomorrow, and great gusts of wind continue to hit the house, but the storm appears to be finding its way out of the Westfjords.
some concern for flooding tomorrow, as it’s forecast to warm up a few degrees and a LOT of wet snow has fallen. so thankful for this cozy house and my catboys as companions through what’s been called the worst September storm in 40 years!

This slowly sauntering along, being a non cooperative model. I tried making animal sounds but he didn’t care, just busy having a Pass Lake salad.
