Slow exposure of surf crashing onto rocks at ocean reef beach. This exposure speed captured the movement of the surf on the rocks. The light on the breaking surf added so much life to the scene.

Gangi è un borgo arroccato sul Monte Barone, una montagna vestita di case con l’Etna di sfondo, a 120 km da Palermo. A mille metri di altezza sorge questo piccolo borgo, circondato da chiese e palazzi nobiliari.

If you look closely in this long exposure you can see some surface bubbles and what I think was leaves moving slowly during the exposure. A neat effect :)

It's funny , I had a great Christmas, and even though there was a lot of sickness in the house, we all had a great time. The family music session singing old Irish songs was the highlight for me. It was a long slow goodbye to a year I wished hadn't come quite so quickly. Full of wonderful highs and the lowest lows imaginable. I only really thought how much I missed Sue on the journey back yesterday, all alone with her in the car. I'll be giving her a long slow goodbye for a long while yet.
