Every year during the holidays the staircase in the Sunburst Atrium is transformed into a full-story Yule Slide. Children and families enjoy the thrill of a ride down the curving, slide, experiencing all the fun of sledding with none of the freezing fingers or soggy socks!

Found 126-format Kodachrome slide dated September 1970 showing an older woman and a young girl (granddaughter?) outside a stone-built building. The original has a strong yellow cast which I have attempted to correct, but I can't entirely eliminate.

Found 126-format Kodachrome slide dated June 1981, showing a family around a Christmas tree. Interestingly, although this slide has a processing date fourteen years after many of the previous ones Grandma is still wearing the same yellow cardigan.
From a set of about 330 slides - all heavily red shifted. These folks took NICE trips! There are a few similar not copied here - and the slide locations match the notes on the box only approximately, and the EvilBay seller has sold in different austions other photos in these groups!

this woman is very brave, i reviewed the schematics for this "slide" and to say it's poorly built would be a compliment to the 3 year old that built it..

Slide put in 2009, with ornamental grasses which children love to hide in. Using recycled tyres for stairs, and to contain the grass.

this image interprets the theme of Twisted because of the way the slide twists left and right on the way down.
Found Kodachrome slide dated July 1976 showing a city skyline. Google Image Search thinks the city might be Vancouver.
