Yes, I will take a slice a la mode, if you please!
This photo was taken by a Hasselblad 500C medium format film camera with a Carl Zeiss Distagon 1:4 f=50mm lens and a Kowa L39•3C(UV) ø67 filter using Fuji 160NS film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
Trying out an idea shooting lemon slices on a lightbox (made from a piece of paper on a glass table and a strobe underneath) - didn't really work out (how I was hoping)... but some interesting results... with a bit of fiddling in Photoshop. This is one of the image from one of the channels (the blue one I think, as far as I can remember).

Backlit with a nikon sb600 flash with light green filter and piece of white cotton gauze on top of the flash to diffuse the light. The kiwi slices are on a thin translucent white board and the flash is shooting straight up. Camera is mounted on a tripod pointing down. Also had a diffused studio light from the left that really did not add too much.

This is an old photo I've brought back with a difference.
I recently finished watching Dexter and wanted to do some kind of tribute to the show as I loved every episode (accept the last one, heartbreaking) but I had no ideas for it and figured I'd wait until something came to me, well tonight I was digging out some old shots for my new facebook page and I saw this one and thought how this could be Dexter reliving the good old days taking out the trash!
