Evening sunlight and long shadows on the rotted superstructure of the tugboat Bascobel. There’s a walkway below those doors but it is completely submerged.
Note the bird poop spattered on the near door: If that’s from a roosting osprey, rather than something just flying past, the angle of impact would indicate “slicing.” That’s a neat trick whereby the osprey points its butt away from the nest and fires off a load of digested fish with considerable force, so that it lands some distance away.

Chocolate, one of the four basic food groups—at least in my world.
Lit with a Smith-Victor LED ring light at 25% power. Top light from a three C-cell Mag-Lite LED flashlight with a CTO gel in front and a facial tissue over the gel to soften shadows. The front of the flashlight was only about 2" above the chocolate.

I’ve seen this done before and thought I’d take a crack at it. I just couldn’t believe all the different results I came up with simply by changing the lighting. This shot was the best I thought, utilizing forward lighting and from underneath the orange.

A quick photograph of a common scene in Malaysia - a miscellany of stools and pots against weathered moss tones.
...to try and break up the relentless torrent of seascapes :)
The seedy side of Brisbane's Edison Lane. Garbage bins lined up at the rear of Newspaper House in the city's CBD. Warm sunlight fights its way into the dark corners.
