The top deck is a bit rusty, but there's a great view down towards the Dome

That's right, I sliced it right down the center next. It takes a good saw for this, do not try at home.

Remember the bleaarrgh baguette i made? The one that didn't call for a sponge? Well, rather than leaving it around in the hope of someone will eat it, i decided to jazz it up by slicing it into pieces and slathering it butter that has been preseasoned with chopped garlic and salt.

Reheat these babies at 220 degree celcius with the buttered sides up for about 7-8 mins. Transform drab to Deelish!

Here is a slice for all my FlickR friends, come celebrate!

Tooting Bec Lido is the largest outdoor pool in the UK and is celebrating its centenary in 2006. The swimmer is Tom Butler of SLSC.

We went to the NCMA last night to see Chaka Khan at the outdoor concert stage. It was a clear crisp night to sit outside and enjoy a show. Must say that we were disappointed with her show. She didn't play long and left the stage in the middle of her set to let the band play for awhile.

The NCMA has a large collection of Rodin Sculptures. This piece sits outside at the entrance to the outdoor theater. We were waiting in line to get in and I looke up and thought that it fit the Slice theme.

Tnis piece is called "STUDY FOR THE NAKED MUSE, WITHOUT ARMS" done in 1908 as a tribute to painter James McNeill Whistler. You can see other Rodin pieces on my flickr site: www.flickr.com/search/?user_id=27859033%40N00&sort=da...

Used Lightroom and Topaz Studio 2 to add some texture and enhance the colors. Used PS to add the border and marquee border.

Utilized by SeaDek professionals around the world, the Slice Tool is an essential SeaDek installation accessory. By ensuring a perfect cut that completely splits the PSA liner without damaging the pad, the Slice Tool protects your hands and your new SeaDek kit during installation and features a long-lasting micro-ceramic blade to prevent rust.

A soil core sliced laterally and going through the soil taxonomy process before being sampled and sent to four labs around the country for analysis.

Moving away from cakes this is a chocolate carrot cake with cream cheese icing. The design is a tribute to a recent project ending and represents a key diagram we produced. The colours are muted (as with the real diagram) but that means the icing-writing isn't very visible. Lesson learned - homage shouldn't be slavish. But loving working with royal icing - piping if you will. I want to be like Mary Smith - Ace of Cakes!

Plus: discovered that Aussie has Icing sugar - which is easy to clumping and icing mixture. The sugar is less sweet but clumpy. The icing mixture is soft but too sweet and dense (see previous cake comments).

Shout out to bubble writing at the bottom right. Apparently there are two types - keeping it real and fancy (i.e. with the ._ reflections)
