Sleeping Beauty Castle has returned to her usual decoration after the 60th celebration has ended...

Enjoyed the early morning at lake Breitenau. Nothing better than fresh air, soft light and wonderful views to start your day :-).

Nice to see this familiy of swans with mom and dad protective with their child in the middle. One of them gave me a sleepy eye when I dismounted from the bike and got the camera out. But reckoning I was no danger it went back to sleep.

Does anybody else sleep walk? How about to the kitchen in the middle of the night to eat cheese? No? Just me? Cool.

had SO much fun taking and editing this! I am really proud of this, I think it is one of my better photos :)

Yuba (the large one with the leg sticking out) and Tigger (the other large one closer to the camera) sleeping together on the warming mat in the living room. We got them within a few days of each other in early 2007 and they've been friends ever since.

after a trip from 1.5 week we arrived home yesterday. I was curious how far nature was in my area so i went out and was very lucky with discovering this sleeping beauty.

Sleeping with one eye open? I'm watching you! I didn't know owls had feathers on their eye lids until I took this shot!

sleep paralysis

–– the frightening sensation of being unable to move in a stage between wakefulness and sleep.

(this is dedicated to back in June when I had this weird, creepy dream where I froze completely and at the same time I felt myself going stiff and couldn't move).

Eloise (then again not really sleeping)

Black and white 35mm film

Built in 1857. It originally operated as the "Sleeping Bear House". The inn primarily served lumberjacks and dock workers in its early days. It later would be popular among tourists visiting the area. As business declined the the inn would later close in 1973. This building (and the rest of the town) would later be purchased by the National Park Service and restored. Sadly the inn is still closed to this day but it may reopen again in the near future.

I have never been one to sleep in class. Anyone who knows me would laugh at the idea and perhaps roll their eyes because I tend to be one of the more vocal students asking lots of questions and participating in conversations. It is frustrating to be in classes with people who don't care. I love to learn and have great respect for those who teach. However, time and meeting some great teachers may have changed my views on this subject.

Let's hear some fun stories about YOU sleeping in class...

I was amazed at how small this castle was when compared to it's orlando sibling. The fireworks had just ended, so I was able to grab a little of the leftover haze in the sky. If I had been thinking, this is where I would have set up the tripod for the fireworks. Cheers, J

This is not my cat or my photo. It was sent to a friend via keitai from some dude she met in a bar.

However it's too funny not to share.

I did some photoshopping to make it look better.

I'm ready to go!

Next week i have to leave Italy and to go to Sweden!!! There will be a strange current local time: Sunrise at 3.39 and Sunset at 22.05 ...so i thought to make some eye masks, one of the best ways to get full, deep sleep.

These are for friends, but i want to make more!! :)

Sienna - pullip jaldet

So, it's St. Nicholas' Day tomorrow! I was hoping to sew cute dress for Sienna for that opportunity, but well - of course I didn't.

I have new motivation to work, so I think I will start doing with my passions again.
