I wanted to get a picture of the Valiant's engine before I completely cleaned and fine-tuned it. I took an entire series of "Before" pictures of the car on this day, including the insides of the doors without their panels (which were stored in the trunk), and small dents and dings in the car's body.
The idea was to completely clean up and restore the vehicle so that it looked like new but I never got the chance. Instead it broke down after a year of fun and as soon as I parked it on the street the neighbors called the police and had it towed!
Until I get the chance to buy another Valiant, there will be no "After" pictures.
Rain and snow showers falling from a cloud are illuminated by the sun, and shadowed by an adjacent cloud, forming a sharp diagonal boundary between light and dark.

We hiked out of the basin after reaching the summit Kings Peak, already 3,500 below the peak, as the August sun slipped below the horizon. From here to the trailhead, it was hiking by headlamps.
We sometimes have to lean & adapt to go our way.
- I see Fairfield as a place where i grew up, its not as great as other places because of the socio-economic class as depicted in the photo as a slant. The bike path shows Fairfield's recreational side of bike-riding when i always participated in my childhood. Grafitti on the wall shows that not every place is perfect. -

It is quite disturbing to stand beneath this cliff as you're really under it. That is it is more than vertical, well to a climber climbing its outside. Climbing the inside is almost a walk in the park, if you can manage walking through stone that is.

Gary Schoolhouse, one of the coolest abandoned schools in Colorado. What better way to explore it than during a thunderstorm.
These are Willie and Max motorcycle bags. They came with a connectors that would have went over the rack. I removed them because they were too heavy. This is the slant design. I will eventually move them to the rear. This should give me an additional inch heal clearance. They seem to be fairly waterproof and can be over stuffed to a certain extent. The camera bag contains an actual camera an Sigma SD15. Also shown is the Oregon Scientific camera which has given outstanding performance.
