This is definitely one serious bird, there were so many eagles this morning, I saw this one sitting right below the remote control camera so I got online and snapped this series.
A rare calm day on the Oregon Coast. The sky was so dramatic and the lines were too good not to shoot this as a diagonal view. The waves were not as dramatic this day as they were the day we were married here, but the beach was no less beautiful.
I really like the way the light from the stove hits the wall. Here are some shots: have you any other certain slants?
This is part 2 of 5 from the Susquehanna river.
Last day for trying to take fall pics. Went with Doug to Holtwood dam area along the Susquehanna river. It was supposed to be mostly clear skies but, as you can see, the weather people got is all wrong again! Oh well, it was a good day and even found a new cascade.
Notice how they are slanted? yup. years and years of railsliding has caused these beauties to be tilted. Very cool!.
This street has steps up one side so pedestrians can navigate it more easily (see previous photo in the stream - Fitness Challenge).
I was stood on the side without them, and was struggling to climb the hill. My ankles just don't bend to that angle, but that was the side I needed to be on for the photograph.
Standing sideways was just as fun....I only nearly fell down the hill twice.
It'd be hilarious to attempt it after a drink or three, or if San Francisco ever got snow!
