In any image of a human being, in some ways we are confronting ourselves when we view it.
Why do faces intrigue us? Regardless of the answer, and regardless if we admire and look at faces, we still are willing to draw differences between us . . . race, education, gender, etc. Yet we retain our interest in faces and other people.
We are very strange.

Disruption
Ownership of activity
Prescribed by acceptable transactions
All is in flux
Resulting in frustration and error
And redefining a fully functioning person
New base-line violations and agreements
To deal with unconscious reaction and reasoned response
Every interaction is observed
To satisfy the needs of commercial interest
There is no snap-back
This is a new socio-economic order
Of artificial intelligence, automation, and surveillance
Those who are left behind
Will be punished by poverty
By systems that are impenetrable and dehumanizing

Decided to visit the rocks known locally as the Four Sisters at Trow Point in South Shields for the first time as high tide was due about half an hour before sunrise. Unfortunately I picked a low high tide and a morning with little sunrise colour and this was about as good as it got today. Hopefully better luck next time!

I'm with my dear brother Douglas Hanna, when he and his partner Carol were visiting us in Asheville, North Carolina.

You may take me to task for the washed out look of this image. Due to very strong color casts from the background (green) & from the overhead umbrella (orange), and the fact that, because the light was extremely bright, the "shady" white balance setting I chose turned out to be the wrong one even though the subjects were under the shade of an umbrella, I tossed in the towel on trying to correct the colors & resorted to monochrome. I think this is about as good as this one is going to get.

Have a great day!
Hoje Leonor encontrou com a quase gêmea Chantilly! Brincadeirinha, na verdade achei elas bem diferentes, acho que por causa dos moldes, mas são duas lindas! Não deixam de ser manas, né? :o)

One of my strong rocks in both SL & RL. Can't believe how much the last 2 1/2 years have changed us both since you came into SL and into my life. <3 My Sister Leena & I

"Having a sister is having a best friend you will never get rid of. You know that what ever you do, whatever you go through and whatever happens to you, they will always be there."
I am blessed to have many sisters, and each of them are very near and dear to my heart. I protect them viciously as they do me.
I love my sisters, and those that have been around for the years and years of crap, heartbreaks and whatever else life throws at us...I thank you. I'd be lost without you.

Multiple photos shot with iPhone 5s then bits and pieces of each photo was taken from them and used to make this. Apps used were iPhone camera, mextures, juxtaposer, Paint FX and image blendr. This image was inspired by the paint of Salvador dali that was painted by Sidney Maurer. I first started with several photos of the girls and a base photo of the two girls standing together. I took all the head shots of them and selected a section of each shot that I wanted to use in the photo ( like the eyes or the mouth or another section of the head ) then I moved the image of each photo to mexture where I used the the preset destroyed film formula. from there I pick which formula I wanted to use then tweak it some then save the image. Once I got all the images of the head and body done in mexture, I moved the images to juxtaposer where I put them all together the way I wanted them. In the meantime I made a background for the image in Paint FX then saved it to my photo album. I took the image I made in juxtaposer and moved it to image blendr then blended one of the textures I have on my phone just to tweak the image some then added it back to juxtaposer with the background that I made in Paint FX and just added the two images together in there. I hope Ive explained it well enough, any questions Just let me know. I hope you enjoy, thanks for looking.
A beautiful Ten Ping Ruby Red Galleria Doll has come to live with us! Her name is Yumi and she's 8 inches tall.
She's Yuki's (Yu Pings) big sister. 😊
My eldest daughter went to a hair salon for the very first time. She's lucky to have a gym-coach, who also happens to be a hair stylist! So, we took the chance this evening to go for a shoot!
...so, her little sister decided to get in on the act!
Old stuff: I took this shot few years ago with my 1st digital camera; i tried to store old stuff home & i just found some cds with old pics, & finally i found this cliche that reminds me some very good holiday , in that very nice & quiet place called Cordes sur Ciel(in the association of the most beautiful villages of France, they are 18 only), a very old Fortress of the middle age. Well, i just crossed those sisters...quiet people in a quiet place...when i watch this picture i feel like a strong serenity...
The Diana camera ( on the left ) was a cheap plastic camera for roll film size 120 , made in the 1960's in large quantities. This one was made in Hong Kong . The same model appeared also under a lot of other fantasy names ; Lina is just one of those . Their use underwent a revival in the era of 'Lomography' .

In memory of my little sister, who passed away 2 weeks ago today. She was my only sibling, and as kids we were inseparable. Unfortunately it was lung cancer that shortened her life - a direct result of smoking.
