Anna Nalick has slowed down her public activities a bit, as she continues to write songs for her next album, scheduled for early 2013. However, she did schedule a few shows at her usual venue, Hotel Cafe in Hollywood, to mark ten years of her performing original material in the public eye; in fact, at the beginning of the show, she stated that Hotel Cafe was her very first public venue back in the day!
A very low-key, acoustic set for this performance. Pianist Will Gramling was the only backup musician present.
For yours truly, this performance was a personal milestone: it was my 20th Anna Nalick performance.

Katie Cole and her band entertains the crowd at the Roxy on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, on 23 April 2012, before Katie takes another songwriting trip to Nashville.

On Whit Monday 2011 the singer-songwriter Emily Jane White had a performance in het Groninger Museum. The Californian singer has a special bond with the museum, because of the Groninger Museum Musictour, for which she is contacting other talented musicians in or around San Fransisco. She'll be participating in the next Musictour with a new song in November 2011.

Dan Stevens stopped in en route to his weekend gig @ The Big Kahuna Cafe where he has been playing at least an annual gig there and numerous other venues in Maine for years now ( He used to live here in Maine, but Sailing, his love for the ocean, got him down to Connecticut where he currently is based out of). So not only a acoustic blues artist / singer songwriter but a sailor. Dans latest is a live recording of a great show near his home base It's called Road to Memphis .Lots of great blues tunes some his own and many classics, he studied with Dave Van Ronk in the Village and was most profoundly influenced by Rev Gary Davis who he was able to witness playing and has the same style of Gibson Guitar (J200) which there is a pic or two herein this set.
