Katie Cole plays a special 2 1/2-hour set at Hard Rock Cafe, located at the Hollywood & Highland Shopping Center, on the evening of 8 February 2013. The set consisted of a solo first half which included many covers of well-known songs, and a second half with a full band that featured the tracks from Katie's still-in-production album, Lay It All Down.

For yours truly, this show was a milestone; it was my tenth time seeing Katie Cole.

Katie performs "I Can't Wait," which is Katie's newest single and video, and which also is the designated audience singalong number in her shows.

The band:

Katie Cole - guitar, lead vocals

Brad Lindsay - electric guitar, backup vocals

Matt Reyes - bass, backup vocals

Paul Redel - acoustic guitar

Nick Bearden - percussion

Last week I had an awesome time photographing local singer/songwriter and soon-to-be-Berklee-School-of-Music-grad Liz Longley. She's a mixture of Patty Griffin, Sara Bareilles, with a touch of Jewel, Allison Krauss and a dash of Sarah Mclachlan.

While we were shooting, she was doing some rehersals for her sold out performance at Studio 99 here in Nashua, and she blew me away with her voice.

We're going to hopefully be working together a bit before she heads on to Nashville this fall, and we've already got a location shoot booked once the weather gets warmer.

I had an absolutely awesome time photographing her, and then being able to listen to her concert at Studio 99. I'm also looking forward to a great professional relationship with her in the future.

More proof images can be seen here.

Katie Cole performs a set on a short notice, just a few days after returning from her Nashville songwriting trip. Due to the last-minute nature, not many fans showed up, but the show was all the more enjoyable for it!

This show featured a smaller band, with Nick Bearden on drums (and guitar as well) and Matt Reyes on bass; guitarist Brad Lindsay was not present, and neither was keyboardist Ruby Biloskirka-Conley who was off to Hong Kong.

Performing "Save You The Trouble" to wrap up the hourlong set.

Wovenhand - Effenaar (Eindhoven) 04/10/2016

I stumbled across this UK tour flyer/poster last night while browsing social media. I love seeing happy clients using their images for all kinds of uses.

If you are in the UK, make sure you check out one of these concert dates and give them both a hug and tell them it's from me.
