Dolly Parton at Newcastle Metro Arena.
I was reviewing the concert for Maverick Magazine and the Newcastle based Sunday Sun. Photography was only allowed from the mixing desk 2/3 the way back of the hall (which is enormous!). Not my best photos,. but all things considered, acceptable.

Liz Longley
Singer/Songwriter

Last week I had an awesome time photographing local singer/songwriter and soon-to-be-Berklee-School-of-Music-grad Liz Longley. She's a mixture of Patty Griffin, Sara Bareilles, with a touch of Jewel, Allison Krauss and a dash of Sarah Mclachlan.
While we were shooting, she was doing some rehersals for her sold out performance at Studio 99 here in Nashua, and she blew me away with her voice.
We're going to hopefully be working together a bit before she heads on to Nashville this fall, and we've already got a location shoot booked once the weather gets warmer.
I had an absolutely awesome time photographing her, and then being able to listen to her concert at Studio 99. I'm also looking forward to a great professional relationship with her in the future.
More proof images can be seen here.
This is a little promo piece I did for a campaign I'm working on to get singer-songwriter Gene Clark inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Since they're both fashion related, I thought I would share them here. If you like Gene Clark and want to sign the petition, visit this website and sign. Thanks!

This is a re-edit, based on a suggestion from my buddy Pete, a phenomenal portrait artist.
I hate to post and run, but I just returned to civilization from a private island in the Chesapeake. I forgot to bring my charger for the iPhone, and was disconnected from the world for 24 hours. Now, I am off again and won't be back until tomorrow. I just had to get my net fix in. I'll catch up with you all manana.....ciao
Freddie is a local singer/songwriter and a friend of Andrew Murdock, a local photographer, who I met through Facebook/Maryland Beauty. Andrew and Freddie were doing some portrait work and I happily tagged along. Or was it that I was shooting the ruins of Savage Mill and they tagged along? Who cares, it was a blast. When you get a chance, go see Freddie live, wherever he plays, and his FB page www.facebook.com/flong3?fref=ts
