There was a wedding that day on the grounds with the reception in the area with the tall arched windows. People associated with the Singer sewing machine company built the castle in the early 1900's. It's currently owned by a group of German investors.

I've christened my new sewing machine 'The Beast' as it's at least three times the size of the little JL Mini I've been using for the last three years! Unfortunately I've not been getting much time for sewing recently as we are in the process of moving house, but I can't wait to get a sewing room set up in the new place so that I can crack on.
