I recently bought a 1/4" foot so I don't have to put a piece of tape for a guide any longer, LOL.

This old machine still works like a charm. Its cranked with one hand while the fabric is controlled with the other. My friend, Carol, the museum directors wife, is making a quilt with it right now.

I found this sweet machine when I went back to see if there were any accesorries from the other one. It is in mint condition and I have been doing tons of sewing with it.

There was a wedding that day on the grounds with the reception in the area with the tall arched windows. People associated with the Singer sewing machine company built the castle in the early 1900's. It's currently owned by a group of German investors.
