My lovely and wonderful Singer 503a. It was also called "The Rocketeer". All mechanical and gear-driven. Manual tension settings. No belts. She's a beauty.

Found this old sewing machine with a wrought iron table framework in a junk-shop. Fits perfectly in our 19th century flat. Though the machine seems to be a bit younger (1920s). (Faber Castell PITT OIL BASE Rötel/Sanguine)
This is my first attempt to make a sewing machine.
The machine itself is made of RKT.
The cake underneath is chocolate with vanilla and chocolate filling.
This was made for my grandmum i adore!she loved it!

In front of the church in Emmen where she would perform arias from Handel's Messiah and other Christmas music, together with the Strenden Choir and Chamber Orchester. Many singers rehearse in the open air because this gives the best conditions to train their voices' volumes. A shower room would be damaged if they would sing there full force :). Training inside is no option because her voice would fill the whole space so that conversation between choir members, visitors etc. would be not well possible and also the chamber orchestra couldn't rehearse or tune their instruments (which they were doing).
