CELEBRATING LIVING COMPOSERS - Sunday, February 27, 2022, Raymond Concert Hall, Rhodes Arts Center. Over 70 students sang the music of living composers, including NMH Assistant Director of Choral Music, Craig Sandford. Three of Mr Sandford's compositions were premiered celebrating the themes of adventure, love and frolicking pigs. Also premiered was an NMH commissioned work by composer Ellen Gilson Voth, The Harbor and the Sea, which explores the resiliency of refugees forced to flee their home countries. The concert featured NMH choral groups The Concert Choir, NMH Singers, Select Womens' Ensemble, Northfield Mount Harmony and the Nellies. Photography by Glenn Minshall.
This picture SUCKS. And I really don't care, just like I didn't care to
take the food out of my teeth before last night's picture.
*edited to add:
I am having my first migraine in four months. I have had one or more
every month for the past ten years, except for the year I was strictly on
Atkins, during which I might have had two or three all year. But for some
reason, I've not had them lately. Anyway, I'm having one now.
I was thinking this morning that I'd been very lucky not to have had a
migraine, and maybe I should thank my lucky stars that I'm having sleep
troubles instead of migraines.
LOL.
