Just found this mixed in some digital photos from 2001. From the EXIF date and time I was able to track it to Iidabashi Station in Tokyo. CC Lemon is great in the summer.
We're no big huge fans of The Simpsons, but with a Bricklink shipment of yellow slopes, plates and a bunch of 2x2 eyes.. there was really no choice!? :)

CAMPANA CORPORATION LIMITED is a federal corporation entity registered with Corporations Canada. The incorporation date is January 14, 1927. Its first product was Italian Balm, a hand lotion. The formula was purchased from a Dr. Campana, from where the company derives its name. It also produced facial and pore cleaners.
Some time prior to the year 1885 a druggist in Toronto, Canada, began to manufacture and sell a hand lotion which he called Campana's Italian Balm. Some sales were made in the United States. The lotion continued to be sold under that name by him and his successors in a comparatively small way until 1926, when the plaintiff acquired the formula and all rights to the trade-mark, trade-name, or goodwill, and began to manufacture the product at Batavia, Ill.

There is a video nearby, explaining the idea
Simpsons Creek is one of the creeks that flows into Lake Haupiri on the northeastern end.
Typical of many West Coast creeks, it is surrounded by regenerating beech forest, and its waters are stained with tannins and topped with natural organic foam, the remains of dead algae and other aquatic organisms.
Not my pic, will take down if asked, for reference only. Found on Pinterest and it's identified as pages from a Simpsons/Sears Catalog from 1965. Another ID it as a Canadian Sears catalog page(?)...so take with a grain of salt.
But LOOK at those prices! 98 cents for the dolls---that house is $6.98! I've never seen that house. Has anyone ever seen one?
Just watched The Simpsons Movie @ Orchard Cineleisure - really cute & funny...highly recommended if you want a good laugh.
4/5 popcorn rating for entertainment.
Do wait till the end, baby Maggie will utter something important...hehehe

A few characters from the Simpsons Universe gather around a Mapple MyPad Mini to watch the Lego themed 550th episode of the long running "The Simpsons".
This is definitely a bit off the radar of my usual photography (unless you count my Danbo photos!) but having had great childhood memories of Lego along with The Simpsons I figured that this was a combination I couldn't resist. I'll try to get back to my regularly scheduled landscape and Milky Way photos with the next upload. :-)

In May 2013, 22 Youngcare supporters will spend 8 days trekking 300km across the Simpson Desert to experience what life might be like for a young person living in aged care - an existence comprised of isolation, restrictions and little decision-making ability. It will be a daily mental and physical battle, but these trekkers will change the lives of thousands of young Australians in desperate need.
In 2011, 24 Youngcare supporters embarked on the Simpson Desert Challenge. Collectively they raised more than $1million for Youngcare........excerpts from Youngcare pamphlets

Washington state's last logger, Simpson Timber, was still going strong at Shelton, Washington in January 1994. That's the Simpson roundhouse in the background. Today, the railroad is silent.
