An example of how the name of a dead company (Simpson) is kept alive through the magic of badge-engineering.
My girlfriend and I have pooled our toy collections together into our display shelves. She has more early Simpsons dolls than what's shown here but we've run out of shelf space (for now). Note the Lisa figure still on the card; I thought that the early Simos were on a pink background but it turns out white was the original packaging colour.

Harper’s Bazaar August 007 ~ “The Simpsons go to Paris with Linda Evangelista” “Models”: The Simpsons, Linda Evangelista, and various designers with Illustrations by Julius Preite. Marge lets down her hair for Versace. Lisa gives up her pearls for Alber Elbaz. Homer dresses as Karl Lagerfeld. Selma & Patty in Viktor & Rolf. Maggie rides around in Jean Paul Gaultier’s Birkin Bag. Quite possibly the most incredible fashion spread i’ve seen (ok maybe tied with the Marie Antoinette Vogue spread?). Simpsons minifigures have landed! I wasn't going to get these, but I really wanted Itchy and Scratcy... as you can see, attempt one did not get me Itchy or Scratchy, but a whole bunch of others. All of these had unique dot/bump codes, which helped me avoid doubles. I'll give it another go at the weekend.

Simpson Railroad turntable in October of 2016, 16 months after the railroad discontinued service and Sierra Pacific Industries took over the mill property. The Peninsular Railway & LM group was able to save it from the scrapper's torch and removed it to storage off site Feb. 22, 2018.
