This is a scan of the original instructions for vintage pattern Simplicity 6183, page 1.

The original tissue is over 60 years old, so rather than further damage the paper, I have scanned the pattern instructions.

If you need any assistance with terminology, resizing, fabric selection or any other aspect of creating this lovely vintage pattern, please contact me.

This pattern is available in my etsy shop: ConsuturaFashionista

"1938" handwritten on the envelope. This pattern was pretty easy to work with and the result is very flattering and feminine. On mine, I shortened the hem to the knee and made my own bias from the contrasting fabric. Easy. A+ pattern!
