I made this dress out of a cotton stretch fabric and lined it with habotai silk. It has horsehair braid at the hem.
This pattern is totally awesome! I don't know if I have ever known of a skirt pattern that has a sweep of 193"... but this one does (per another website listing)!!!
This pattern will not only sew this awesome 8-gored skirt but also has a blouse with a front button closing, a fab collar and long raglan sleeves that are gathered at buttoned cuffs, with an optional cute ribbon bow. The ankle-length bell-bottom pants have a side zipper closing and waistband. The skirt has optional embroidered eyelet edging trim.

Life could be complicated, we have to simplify it by filtering what we want to hold on or let go.
生活得太擁擠,容易互相干擾,每夜我們用睡眠重建自我,當伴隨著晨光醒來,對自己完成了的再一次的拼湊。

This is a scan of the original instructions for vintage pattern Simplicity 6183, page 1.
The original tissue is over 60 years old, so rather than further damage the paper, I have scanned the pattern instructions.

This pattern is available in my etsy shop: ConsuturaFashionista
"1938" handwritten on the envelope. This pattern was pretty easy to work with and the result is very flattering and feminine. On mine, I shortened the hem to the knee and made my own bias from the contrasting fabric. Easy. A+ pattern!
