This camera is a deluxe version of the Brownie Six-20 Model E and was manufactured in England by Kodak Limited from 1955 to 1957.
Seen in an antique shop window.
During my time off this holiday season, I rearranged and organized my studio. I have been wanting to have a corner designated for floral photography and now I finally do.
I was inspired by an exhibition of Mapplethorpe's photography when I lived in Southern California a few years ago.
He has a very distinctive style. I am using it as my baseline inspiration and look forward to seeing where it leads me this year.
Anyone have any recommendations for simple, basic photography background kits?

A photo from my 'Sight Lines' solo architectural photography exhibition, held in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire from 12th October to 19th November 2021.
This is an image of the much photographed, greatly loved, but now demolished, 1971 Welbeck Street Car Park in London. The structure is an example exoskeleton construction. It closed in August 2018. Architect: Michael R Blampied & Partners. Photo taken in January 2017.
A General Electric C30-7 locomotive basks in the hot afternoon sun in Provo, Utah the afternoon of Aug. 11, 1985. Union Pacific rostered 140 of them, acquired between July 1977 and October 1980. All were stricken from the UP roster by 2001, and many found a second life working in Mexico.

IC 3107, 6200, & GTW 4900 scurry past the landmark that has become the Rick's Auto Sales lot. Tonight, they're in charge of the Cedar Rapids to Manchester, IA turn job L56791 31. Here they are heading north at 42nd St NE in Cedar Rapids, IA. I attempted (and failed) to get this exact shot with an original painted GTW geep earlier on in the month, so this Deathstar was a welcome shot at redemption, even if it was just a little less fitting. Taken on 3/31/20.
Back when our beaches were worry free.
This year the city is banning from beaches tents, portable BBQ's and all cooking appliances and anchoring down picnic tables. All designed to discourage large groups from congregating during this pandemic. Not sure if this will achieve very much, when the summer comes the crowds arrive en masse.
