"Doing shots"
I was lucky enough to be able to sneak away another day to meet up with Coleen at her happy place....one more day with that gorgeous doll Jenni...just one more day.
So grateful to have had that window of time, even though it wasn't nearly enough.
Missing the girls so much xo
This afternoon I went to Yushima Tenjin, very well visited at this time of the year for its ume trees but only a few were blossoming.... this is just one of them...
Have a wonderful day, my friends !!
Don't walk behind me; I may not lead.
Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow.
Just walk beside me and be my friend.

NO GROUP AWARDS
Hello to all, I've missed you. Still no internet at home; we are getting unpacked and re-acclimated slowly. Hopefully the telephone company will have our lines good to go with in the next week and we will be in the age of technology at our new address! :-) For now, I'm bumming my brother's wireless to stop in and say hello and send belated Thanksgiving wishes to you all! See you soon I hope!!!

Relaxing on the beach, looking out at Lake Huron and enjoying the sunset at Port Crescent State Park, Michigan.

It's the sound of the rain coming down when you fall asleep
It's a call from a friend that you love, but never get to see
All the time you can waste tryna chase what you'll never need
Hope you back around to simple things......

Abstract structures in Central London. Everything that you see here will shortly be demolished, sadly.

The Monument Building in the City of London on a different day to my other recent photo called 'City Flickr'.

Another photo of High Point, Bradford, West Yorkshire. Built in 1972 for the Yorkshire Building Society. This brutalist building, which dominates the West Gate, Bradford skyline, stood empty for many years. It has now been redeveloped into apartments, as you can see from a plant in one of the windows.
Original architects: John Brunton Partnership.

With all the storm clouds we have been experiencing during the day for the past few weeks, it always amazes me that by the time it's sunset, most of the clouds disappear! We keep hoping for more spectacular clouds for the sunsets, but the simple ones can be beautiful too.

The 2014 Weekend at the Asylum which is likely the largest and longest running Steampunk Festival in the World. It is held in the historic uphill district of Lincoln, Lincolnshire.
Since 2009, the festival (or convivial in Steampunk parlance) has been held each year in Lincoln and currently stretches over multiple venues in the historic cathedral quarter of Lincoln town, Lincoln Castle and Bishop Grosseteste University. It is run as a not-for-profit event organised by the Victorian Steampunk Society.
For four glorious days the historic streets of Lincoln are thronged with thousands of splendidly dressed steampunks enjoying a festival which strives to combine art, literature, music, fashion, comedy and simple good fun.
The event contains programmes of features and entertainment, such as the Empire Ball, Majors Review (The Major's Soiree) and the National Tea Duelling final, along with lots of live music and comedy and the largest steampunk market in the World, the Bazaar Eclectica.
