I know i've been away for a while... I got a product photography gig that took a bit to edit, that paired with completing the studio has taken most of my time. I have lots of new stuff planned but in the meantime here are a few pieces from the product shoot. Nothing special here just product on white background for a catalog and website but it is surprising how difficult it can be to pull this off well, especially on location!

The show is actually quite simple
one set
two acts
no intermission
yet it is excellent
a lot of movie producers could learn from this
Casablanca might be the best movie ever and it had 3 sets an not one special effect
just a story
and stars

Simple curb appeal yet it is very effective & looks nice from the street. So the front door stands out more and doesn't blend in, I would paint it and also paint the trim so that it 'pops'. I also like that this house has a sunken garage.

Simple yet elegant, these cuffs were made following a 1848 original pattern.
They were made using a fine cotton thread which makes them a pretty accessory suitable for reenactors.
They measure about 6″/15cm and are closed by a button on the wrist.
I can make them in other colors.

I was totally drooling over this, yet another awesome pattern from Goodknits. I would really like to add some flowers eventually, but I am just enjoying the wreath itself right now.
