Sunrises are always unique and even when the sun doesn't make an appearance have their own charm. The wind didn't favor bird photography on the morning when this was taken while I was visited Jacksonville, but I thought the sunrise was beautiful and the simple composition appeals to me. Maybe it's the bird! Have a good day!

I hope that most of you are taking the time to breathe in a deep breath, slow down, relax and enjoy the simple things that we usually don't have the time to notice. Staying home really isn't a bad thing. I think I'm going to have a tougher time rejoining the rat race than I'm having self quarantining and social distancing! I can't believe how fast the days are flying by. Why don't days at work go this fast?

The world at the current moment just isn't simple. Everything is always so complicated. You can never go a day without seeing
the issues of the world. Simplicity to me is the number one thing that can make or break a relationship. If everything is so simple then it just works. Why complicate things when they never have to be?
But when I am with you a lot of those complications go away or just disappear for a few hours. I know when I am here with you I can just relax and not be stressed out. Naturally a competitive person I'm always competing with everything and everyone in some way. With you I don't have to. You are just simply simple.
When life gets hard, and believe me, it will, don't let pride or hatred take root in your soul. They are heavy weights that will only drag you down. Instead, turn to the simple truths. Be honest with yourself and with others. A kind heart and a clear conscience are a powerful shield. When you feel lost, remember what truly matters. Trust in God, and live a good life, with integrity and humility, and He will always guide your way.

Hello to all, I've missed you. Still no internet at home; we are getting unpacked and re-acclimated slowly.
