Soft, even, overcast light and a Dunlin standing pretty along the shore. The chaos of the 100s of other shorebirds surrounding this one fades away when this beauty isolated itself to my right. It eyed me up for a moment, deciding whether it was safe to continue feeding in my direction. It was and she did.

Straight forward beautiful. Not a lot of frills about this great flower. Many flowers in their beauty look complex as they are fully opened. This beauty is “Simply Simple” just as is. Striking shape, color and tone make this so easy on the eyes. Thanks for viewing my work.

It’s nice to enjoy the simple beauty that lies right in our yards and gardens. The simple colors and their blending with other simple colors and shades can be habit forming for our senses. This can easily make for a pleasing and calming environment to enjoy with a cool summer drink and conversation perhaps. It doesn’t take a lot to please my senses. I really do look and strive for ways for me to
“Keep It Simple.” It’s often not easy to adapt to an alternative happiness to the version that we’ve had forced on us so early in life by advertising and marketing majors.
