I haven’t worked with alcohol inks for a while so I was happy to get back into it with the @simonsaysstamp January card kit. I did the background with the ink included in the kit, Patina, and Denim and Silver mixative from my stash. I die cut the included snowflake die out of metallic white cardstock, and hand cut the banner for a wintery card. I’m entering this card in all of Simon’s challenges (the theme is something new (the kit)).

Another card created with the Holiday Words background stamp. This time I isolated the words Merry Christmas, inked up the words with VersaMark watermark ink, stamped and embossed with pewter embossing powder on patterned paper. The mistletoe and pine are from the SSS Christmas Foliage die set. Also adding this to the SSS flickr challenge.

Another butterfly card. I've been making quite a few cards with this big beauty from Hero Arts. I used an iridescent pink glitter and boy does it have some wicked sparkle. Unfortunately you can only see a bit of it in the photo.

Hopping along with Simon Says Stamp to celebrate the new ‪#‎ssscoloroffun‬ release. Love the One With Nature set and can think of hundreds of ideas I'd like to try with it. 😀

My Mom asked for some thank you cards so these are what I whipped up for her. As I was making them, I realized just how easy it would be to make one a shaker card so that's what I did! And I'm so glad because that one's my fav!!

A rose card using my favorite technique : copic coloring ♡. I'm entering this one into the current SSS flickr challenge 71. I used 'more spring flowers' set from Simon Says Stamp

I only gave a peek at this on Instagram because the recipient follows me there, but here's the full card! I did a little selective stamping for the tag in the corner to make it personalized to her. One day, I hope it doesn't feel like a political statement when I'm really just making a card out of love for a friend.

Card made from the Simon Says Stamp March 2015 Card Kit for the OCC #3

One more card for a challenge to use "something wood". This one has less wood and more air and freedom. Used a wood grain stencil and embossing paste (colored by dye-inks) to create a wood texture. The butterfly was cut from a white cardstock and then colored with sprays (and I have another vellum butterfly underneath). The same sprays I used to create these blue splashes. Realized that these SSS butterflies are my fave from all I have (or seen). They' re perfect.
