Had an idea, to paint a sign in black 1Shot enamel over a chalkboard background. It sat in the window for a few months, then the guy who came by the shop and took all Caitlyn's signs, bought it, too. We snapped this before parting ways. Now I want another.
They tried to Change this Bell Gas sign to a CARS sign. Unfortunately, it does not work too well at this time of the day!

This cool old sign is a landmark along I-80 between Sacramento and San Francisco. It's got to be nearly 100 feet tall! The old restaurant is not there, but it has been dismantled and preserved. Maybe someday it can be set up again. I believe the sign has historic protection, and it is probably the most iconic thing in the small dairy town of Dixon, California.
This sign is on the side of the Stiles, Iowa general store. If you look really hard and use your imagination you can see a face! I think the face is sticking its tongue out at you though.
Formerly a Wholesale Grocery Company. Small sign indicates it is currently home af a contracting company. Nice to see old signage retained.
The first night I went out drinking in Chiba, in 1998, I ended up at a little ramen shop just along this street. A lot has changed but for the most part it's still the same place.

Langley village sign.
Langley is a small village near Maidstone in Kent.
The name comes from the Old English lang leah or ‘long field or woodland’. This village first appears in the records in 814 as Longanleag.

High above the streets of Crewe is this signing advertising a long defunct restaurant. In more recent times the building housed the Steam nightclub but is now derelict. I would love to know more about Kettell's but have so far found no information.

This signpost by the railway line at Corfe Castle had me puzzled. Why is Scotland only 1 mile away? I thought it should be more like 400 miles away.

Philadelphia, PA; the sign was built as a scaffold sign in 1999 and installed in downtown Baltimore:

Then moved here in 2010 and used as a billboard sign next to the interstate.
