The other side had better paint and sunlight, but there was a lamp in the way, and damage from some careless moron in a truck.

Neon signs on Broadway, Nashville. I have read that neon signs are likely to reduce dramatically in numbers as they are replaced by ever more sophisticated LED arrays. Perhaps I'm getting old but give me neons everyday

This is the first, and probably only silkscreen edition of our popular "Uprisings" image. It was produced by Modern Multiples and will debut March 19 at Giant Robot 2 for their Water Works exhibition benefiting UNICEF's Tap Project.

No clue where the original photo comes from or who took it, I found it here.

Most every week this sign changes. Often it's very, very amusing, as this one demonstrates. Sometimes there are duds (of course, just my most excellent opinion) but most make me chuckle and drive back around for a photo.

... apparently, so do some people in the building ^_^

This is a sign on the door of my company's building ^_^

Sometimes photography is just about having fun and looking for things other people may not see. . . .this was taken in a candy shop in Charleston, SC with my iPhone. . .

This sign at Kathryn and Brian's wedding notes some of their connectedness in terms of their shared criminal justice careers. Through the window is a view of the beautiful outdoor setting where they were married.

I spotted in local tackle shop, bit harsh sign but funny in a way. i think the title speak its self.

While photographing a village sign earlier in the day, somebody suggested we go to the small village of Reach because they had a really good one. They were right! Absolutely amazing, so much detail. A really lovely carved wooden sign.

Massive collection of old signs at the Pioneer Auto Show in Murdo, South Dakota, a fun museum and quirky collection of stuff.

This has been facing the pavement as long as I remember.

An old rusty sign found in Seattle on Bill Speidel's Underground Tour - from Pioneer Square.

A reworked version of this photo: www.flickr.com/photos/nick_d/4381414723/ - done entirely in Lightroom, using all sorts of masks and adjustments and lens corrections :)

I've tried harder this time to emphasise the texture and feeling of urban decay in this one, I really like the subject and geometry here but I think the super-bright colours on the old version detract a bit from what it should say...

I really liked the bright one before, but I think this version is much more refined :)
