This beautiful little rangefinder is considered by some to be Kodak's finest American-made camera. My example is a little bit of a project. The shutter and aperture both move freely, but the shutter won't latch into cocked position, so some (hopefully minor) surgery will be required. Also, the rangefinder patch is dim almost to the point of nonexistence. The lens looks perfect, though, so it may well be worth the effort to repair it.

Produced from 1958 to 1962, the Kodak Signet 80 was the last serious rangefinder Kodak made. It was an interchangeable lens camera: in addition to the 50mm lens, 35mm and 90mm lenses were available. It had a unique film take-up mechanism that did not require a film spool. Designed by Arthur Crapsey, it was a striking example of mid-century design aesthetic.
