This pic will not be shown publicly. It's a Flickr Bug. That's why I only have very few views and favs. I have set it to private and then back to public to possibly solve the problem. But it didn't have any effect and I've now also lost the few favs that the picture had before rechange the settings from private to public.
Signature Spider (Argiope anasuja), is a species of harmless orb-weaver spider (family Araneidae) found from the Seychelles to Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, and in the Maldives.
Female is about 8-12 mm long and male is 3.5-4.5 mm. After Cephalothorax greyish brown with hairs. Sternum heart shaped with hairy pubescent white patch. Palps bear spines. Legs greyish brown and hairy. Femora dorsally yellowish. Abdomen pentagonal and hairy. Dorsum yellowish with brown transverse bands. Three sigilla pairs distinct. Ventrum dark brownish with two longitudinal white patches.
Male is smaller than female. Male spins a web around the female's web, which is known as a companion web. After the mating, as in other common spiders, female kill the male. Female lay eggs on the companion web and wrap them up into a sac. Spiderlings eat each other in the sac until the strongest spiderling break the sac wall. The sac can hold from 400 to 1,400 eggs.

The signature spider (Argiope anasuja) is an orb-web constructing spider.
It gets its name due to the signature like markings that it creates in its web. Generally there will be one or two such marks and the arachnid places itself between these markings. However, there could be 3 or 4 markings as well!
In this picture, the spider has placed itself between 2 markings (1 on top and 1 below).

This belt is actually a ribbon from a different dress that I'll be wearing tomorrow, but I like that it can be used as a belt for other things as well! And in a naming and winning contest, I deemed these shoes The Nonfiction Heels and won them for my own :-)
Diamond's SK16 GXH (32307) is seen stored overnight in Redditch Bus Station. Some buses are stored by Diamond in the Redditch Bus Station because there isn't enough space in their Church Road or Plymouth Road depots. This Streetlite will probably have gone and worked on the Solihull Signature network, but some days it does stay in Redditch. SK16GXH, along with three other Streetlites were new in March 2016, not to Redditch depot, but to Tividale instead for use on the 4 (Walsall-West Bromwich with extensions). It wears branding for Signature. 32307 was the second Streetlite to be branded for Signature. The first one was GN14 LPL (30167). GXH is a Wright Streetlite DF (Door Forward).

I don't insert borders around my photos any more but when I mistakenly over-cropped this photo tonight and saw the white around the sparkling Beverly Hills Hotel Umhlanga Rocks swimming pool I felt an "Oh Wow!".
I've called this one "Signature Bliss" (all my photos have a name so when they appear on Flickr they are not called "IMG_7563" smile emoticon. No real cropping has been done as I'm still deciding which way I want to present it.
PS: I heard a rumour that Michael Bublè &Luisana Lopilato Michael Bublé stayed at this hotel on his / their recent visit to Durban. Not sure if true but if so what a top choice; it's my favourite hotel. 5 Star Excellence!

La page s'agrandit, les photos se multiplient et les partages aussi. C'est pourquoi j'en suis venu à me poser la question d'une signature sur mes photos.
Mon nom n'est pas toujours respecté et assimilé à mes photos j'ai donc longuement réfléchi car je n'aimais pas les signatures en elles-mêmes qui pour moi dénaturent la photo et la rend accès sur le photographe plutôt que sur la beauté de la photo qu'elle peut dégager.
Mais quand on voit l'utilisation que certains puissent se permettre sur vos photos, dégrade votre image où les utilise sans même vous citer n'est pas permissible selon moi.
Derrière chaque photo il y a un travail à respecter, je peux être le metteur en scène mais il y a souvent une équipe derrière qui n'est à son tour pas respectée.
Je me rends donc à l'évidence de poser une signature qui j’espère vous plaira.
N'hésitez pas à donner votre avis que ce soit sur la signature que l'idée en elle-même.

The Hotel Breakwater South Beach is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Miami’s Art Deco Historic District, celebrated for its symmetrical design and iconic neon-lit vertical signage.
Design: The hotel was designed in 1936 (some records cite construction completion in 1939) by Yugoslavian architect Anton Skislewicz.
Style: It is a prime example of Streamline Moderne, a late Art Deco style characterized by clean lines, aerodynamic curves, and archetypal symmetry.
Signature Features: The building features a prominent central tower with an electric-blue sign that serves as a beacon on Ocean Drive. It originally included etched plate glass windows depicting tropical Florida scenes like flamingos and palm trees.
Post-War Boom: After serving as a training ground for military personnel during World War II, the hotel became a central part of the bustling Ocean Drive tourist scene in the mid-1940s.
Iconic Photoshoot: In the early 1980s, the rooftop terrace hosted Bruce Weber’s famous Calvin Klein Underwear photoshoot, an event credited with helping bring international attention back to the then-fading Art Deco District.
Historic Designation: In 1979, the hotel became part of the National Register of Historic Places as a contributing structure to the Miami Beach Architectural District.
Renovation: After falling into disrepair, the property was extensively renovated in 2011 by the Nakash family (founders of Jordache Jeans). The restoration combined the original Breakwater building with its neighbor, the Edison, into a 99-room boutique hotel.
Recent Developments: As of January 2026, the hotel continues to operate as a central feature of South Beach, though it recently faced financial shifts, including reports of a loan default in late 2025.
