This board is used at some service track ends, or at the exit of some stations on single track lines, in the case of switch(es) passed trailing with one signal associated with both tracks (entrance on a single track line, etc.). This board is set on each track: by the track(s) not having priority, if the common signal is a carré, this board is settled on the mast of the guidon d'arrêt (which stays closed if the track having priority is occupied); if the common signal is a sémaphore, the driver must only ask for a written order to proceed.

Zoals elk jaar organiseerde de Veluwse Stoomtrein Maatschappij (VSM) weer hun grootse stoomevenement Terug naar Toen. Dit jaar weer met veel stoom en dieselloks die diverse goederen en personentreinen reden tussen Apeldoorn en Dieren. Voor ons lag de nadruk vooral op de goederentreinen en enkele nieuwe fotomotieven (seinen die nieuw geplaats waren).

As every year, the Veluwe Steam Train Company (VSM) once again organized their largest steam event 'Terug naar Toen' (Return to the Past). This year again, many steam and dieselloks with various goods and passenger trains ran between Apeldoorn and Dieren. For us, the focus was mainly on freight trains and some new photo motifs (new signs that were placed).

Wie jedes Jahr, organisierte die Veluwe Dampf Zug Verein (VSM) wieder ihre größte Dampf Veranstaltung ' Zurück nach Damals'. In diesem Jahr zogen wieder Dampf und Dieselloks die verschiedene Güter und Personenzüge zwischen Apeldoorn und Dieren. Für uns war der Fokus vor allem auf Güterzüge und einige neue Fotomotive (neue Signale, die neu aufgestelt wurden).

Le grand voilier blanc polonais de plus de 55 m de long ne passe pas inaperçu sur le bord du quai du bassin Vauban. Ce deux-mâts, baptisé Fryderyc Chopin, est arrivé jeudi et repartira samedi dans l’après-midi. À bord de ce navire-école, un équipage de 50 marins qui se forme à la navigation à la voile. Au départ de Saint-Malo, ce brick à coque d’acier construit en 1991 aux chantiers navals de Gdansk, ira rejoindre Amsterdam.

Le Fryderyk Chopin est un brick moderne, à coque acier, construit en 1991 en Pologne, aux chantiers Lénine de Gdansk.

Comme le Pogoria, l’Iskra II, le Kaliakra, le Dar Młodzieży et le Khersones, le Fryderyk Chopin a été dessiné par l'architecte naval polonais Zygmunt Choreń.*

il a été affrété un an comme charter pour le West Island College au Canada afin d'élargir son programme de formation à la voile. Puis il a servi au European School of Law and Administration, une université privée polonaise.

Le 29 octobre 2010, le navire a été signalé en état de détresse au large des îles Scilly, ayant perdu deux mâts à cause de coups de vent violent et d'une forte mer. Il était en croisière de trois mois et demi des Pays-Bas vers les Caraïbes avec 47 membres d'équipage à bord, y compris 36 stagiaires âgés de 14 ans. Bien qu'il y ait un moteur auxiliaire, le capitaine du navire ne l'utilisa pas, par peur des débris traînant sur l'hélice. Aucune blessure n'a été signalée. Le navire a été remorqué dans les eaux abritées de la baie de Falmouth sur 100 milles et trois jours de remorquage par le petit chalutier Nova Spero dont le capitaine, Shaun Edwards avait répondu à l'appel de détresse. Après règlement de différends au sujet des assurances, sa rénovation a eu lieu au chantier naval britannique "A & P" puis à celui de "Queens Wharf".

Depuis 2011, le navire est exploité par 3Oceans, un opérateur polonais de navire privé. Il sert de navire à The Blue School, un projet de formation à la voile organisé par la STS Fryderyk Chopin Foundation.

Le "Fryderyk Chopin" (pour respecter son écriture d'origine) a été dessiné par l'architecte naval polonais Zygmunt Choren, comme le Dar Mlodziezy. Le bateau, mis à l'eau en 1991, a servi de voilier-école pour la marine polonaise. Il peut embarquer à son bord 12 marins, 27 stagiaires et 17 passagers. En 2010, à l'occasion du bicentenaire de la naissance du compositeur Frédéric Chopin, le deux-mâts, long de près de 50 mètres, a cessé son activité de bateau-école pour sillonner l'Europe et promouvoir la Pologne et ses attraits.

A Louisville and Indiana RR train is heading away from Indianapolis and is passing the fixed approach signal (which happens to be the only remaining semaphore signal in the city!) as it moves its train south towards Columbus IN.

Bij de ZLSM Stoomtreindagen staan de locs altijd weer garant voor veel stoom en lawaai als ze deze enige 'berg' spoorlijn van Nederland richting Simpelveld of verder naar Kerkrade berijden. Ook dit jaar waren weer gastlocomotieven; de MBS 6 en de SGB 3 reden op het staion Simpelveld heen en weer. De VSM 23 076 reed tussen Valkenburg, Wijle, Simpelveld en Kerkrade samen met de ZLSM 1220.

At the ZLSM Stoomtreindagen, the locomotives always guarantee a lot of steam and noise when they drive this only 'mountain' railway of the Netherlands, towards Simpelveld or further to Kerkrade. Also this year there were guest locomotives; the MBS 6 and the SGB 3 drove back and forth on the Simpelveld station. The VSM 23 076 drove between Valkenburg, Wijle, Simpelveld and Kerkrade together with the ZLSM 1220.
