My local bird watching group had an outing to Courtmacsherry last October & I meant to upload this photo at the time but I just found it in the archives. Sounds like a great weekend. HSS!
This only took me 3 hours. I wrote it myself, and went outside where the sun was shining. I find it wonderful, really.

i'm finding it ever more difficult to find any time to get around to visit my flickr friends these days. as a consequence i'm considering stopping posting here and concentrating on my main blog, at least in the short term. 24 hours in a day is just not enough!

This one is part of "three-in-row" - The Eagle Cafe, The Lamp Post, and Lum's.
Fabulous vintage Chicago sign, quite difficult to shoot as there was a load of road repair going on outside and the sidewalk was closed. I wasn't going to let a closed sidewalk get in my way though! A beautiful blue Feb sky helped. I went back two days later and it was cloudy but the sign was lit up. I'll post that up later.
